Libby Dudley made these cheerful door decorations... what a great idea for the holidays!
Gail English made this Christmas tree skirt in 1980...
... and in 2008 she made this 9-Patch quilt! WOW!
This White on White wholecloth quilt was made by Kay Brill. She trimmed it with lace made by her mother back in the 1930's.
Kay showed off her Bow Tie quilt made from our 2007-2008 Bow Tie Block Exchange.
Bert Garino shows us her Spiral Rose pillow made from this month's spiral workshop with RaNae Merrill.
Bert's "Which Witch is Which" sure makes you smile!
Bert's tablerunner "Boo to You, Too" was made for her granddaughters. She copied the pattern from the latest Fons and Porter magazine, but changed the pumpkin faces to be more friendly. When Bert got home from the guild meeting last week she received a phone call... caller ID said it was from "Iowa." When she picked up, it was none other then Marianne Fons! Bert had signed up to be a quilt angel at the Houston International Quilt Festival next week, and she wanted to check her times for volunteering. She called back a few minutes later to check the spelling of her name. Bert says, "I know it's not much, but it was my touch with greatness, and my friends that aren't quilters just didn't understand my excitement!"
