These are the pictures taken at our June picnic at Fort Hunt Park. It was wonderful to be able to meet again and see everybody unmasked!!!
Unfortunately, the bright out of doors did not make for great pictures, but I think we all agree it was worth it to be able to be able to see each other.
Ginny Mayes was able to get some wonderful pictures of our group.
There were a number of charity quilts turned in.
The next two quilts were pieced by Jim Melton before he passed away. ZoeAnn Brown finished them.
Kathy Z had two baby quilts to show.
This purse is a thrift shop find
This is the back and front of the quilt given to Martha Dyckes as a thank you for serving as president during this challenging Covid year. Libby pieced the quilt, Ginny Mayes quilted it, Veronica Abrams made the label, and Helen Shaver bound it.
Veronica Abrams has been busy with a machine embroidery class. The bag on top represents many hours of machine embroidery. She liked the pattern so much she made many more without the embroidery.
JoAn Stout has a number of Pocket Prayer Quilts to share with us.
