"When we attended our first reunion, the group had already met in Connecticut and received QOVs from a chapter somewhere up there. But of course there were other men who had missed that meeting and didn’t have them, so of course I offered to fill in the gap. And then the next year we had to attend to present those, and there were men who had missed last year’s presentation so the next year I made quilts for them. Repeat and repeat ad infinitum, right?  So these are my last Quilts of Valor!  But then, I’ve said that before."
