Joan Mayer sports one of three witch's hats she made.  She said she did not want the hats to be crushed in a suitcase, so she had fun wearing one in the airport to take it to her daughter-in-law.

Angelia helps Joan hold up Joan's Mirepoix quilt. The quilt is named for the mix of sauteed vegetables often used to start stews and other dishes.  Joan says that it is a great leader and ender quilt and is her favorite charity quilt pattern.  She always has one in progress and loves the way it looks in batik fabrics.

Joan Mayer and one of two Victorian Spooky quilts she made out of her stash of quilt panels.  This one is a wedding anniversary quilt for her son and daughter-in-law.

Joan Mayer and her True North quilt made of Mariner's Compass blocks. Joan made the Mariner's Compass blocks in 2019 using the Robin Ruth method and then got stuck.  She finally completed the UFO with an original placement design.  The quilt will go to her son who has always known his "true north" as an artist.

Tina Wujick with her sampler of 4-inch blocks, each one different.  She worked on this quilt at the same time she was working on her 365 3-inch blocks in the Block of the Day pattern.
