Quilters Coloring Books
Quilters Coloring Books
Coloring books are no longer just for the kids. In fact, adult coloring books are all the rage right now. This once-niche hobby has now grown into a full-on trend. Just like meditation, coloring also allows us to switch off our brains from other thoughts and focus only on the moment, helping to alleviate free-floating anxiety. Skip the crayons and go straight for the colored pencils. No need to purchase a coloring book, just do a web search “adult coloring books” and you’ll find lots of information and free pages you can print so you can color to your hearts content.

Textured Tweety
Wendy
loves texture in her quilts—the more texture the better. Numerous
texturing techniques will be explored- Texture Magic, fold and tucking
and outline appliqué. A portion of the workshop will be dedicated to show
and tell and demonstrations of some new texture ideas to inspire future
projects with an added discussion on specialty threads. We will then break
out the sewing machines for some hands-on play, which will include the use of
“Texture Magic,” and fold and tuck texturing to make Wendy’s “Textured Tweety.”
You bring your favorite fabrics and Wendy will provide a kit of hard to find
items.
