Scrappy version with heavy machine quilting and trapunto.
Lynn Miller - Quilt of Valor
10 Minute Block by Suzanne McNiel
This is the block we used for a 5th Tuesday Charity Workshop last year.  It looks great in a 5 inch size.  These blocks were based on a 9 inch square to make the best use of fat quarters.
Lynn Miller - Toasty Paws
Traditional design for Bear Paws Block
Completed the top about 10 years ago.  Machine quilted by Lynne Fishburn this Fall.
T Carter - Mato Paha
Traditional and Original designs
I created this star quilt to honor the sacred Mato Paha (Bear Butte) - located in the Black Hills, South Dakota.  I worked with a chocolate brown and turquoise color pallet - co-mingling Batiks and prints.  This quilt will cover one of my guest beds.
Carolyn Paden - Sunshine & Shadow
Carolyn Paden - Jinny Beyer Kit Quilt

Rosemary O'Brien
Last year I attended a MVQU workshop at a bee to learn how to  make fabric origami ornaments.  I made a tree ornament for each of my six grandchildren this Christmas from fabric left from their baby quilts.  I was inspired to make pillowcases also with the baby quilts' scraps.
